To pay over the counter, please present the Post Billpay barcode located at the bottom of your invoice remittance slip to the retail teller.

Important Counter Guidelines:
Our account configurations enforce strict payment rules at the post office terminal:

Accepted: Physical EFTPOS cards inserted or swiped using your Savings or Cheque account.
Not Accepted: Cash, physical credit cards, and smartphone/smartwatch taps (Apple Pay or Google Pay) are entirely blocked at the counter. Online card payments through the Australia Post website or mobile app are completely disabled.

Credit and debit card transactions are currently accepted via the DEFT online platform but will be permanently switched off on 1 October 2026.

Action Required for Recurring Schedules:
If you currently have automatic or recurring payments linked to a Visa, Mastercard, or credit card, these schedules will be automatically cancelled on the deadline date. Please switch your recurring source to an alternative digital method (like BPAY or PayID) inside your banking app before 1 October 2026 to avoid billing disruptions.
